Role Overview: 

Flight Schedule Pro is looking for a Senior Accountant who’s ready to make an impact! As a central player on our finance team, you’ll report directly to the Controller and take the lead in keeping our day-to-day accounting operations running smoothly. From driving the monthly close process and preparing journal entries, accruals, and in-depth accounting analysis, to managing key functions like intercompany reporting, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and bank reconciliations, you’ll be at the heart of it all. Responsibilities: 

  • Own the accuracy and integrity of daily accounting and month-end close activities across all entities.
  • Lead bank and general ledger reconciliations, ensuring nothing slips through the cracks.
  • Dig deep into financial data by reviewing and analyzing general ledger transactions, applying sharp technical judgment to guarantee precision.
  • Deliver impactful financial analyses and reports that guide decision-making.
  • Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts with a keen eye for detail.
  • Elevate our processes by updating accounting procedures and maximizing the use of automation tools.
  • Champion continuous improvement and drive standardization within the finance function.
  • Partner with auditors to quickly resolve requests and keep audits on track.
  • Take on exciting challenges with ad hoc projects and related duties that expand your expertise.

Required/Desired Experience: 

  • 3+ years related experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
  • CPA a plus
  • Experience using Sage Intacct preferred
  • Exceptional excel skills
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP
  • SaaS experience preferred
  • Willingness to continue to learn, adapt, mentor, and be mentored
  • Excellent communication skills and a passion for doing work with excellence
  • Have high standards and a strong work ethic with a positive attitude
  • Must be action oriented and focused on getting the job done

Compensation: 

The salary range for this role has been established at $110,000 - $140,000 annually. The final agreed-upon compensation is based on a number of factors, including but not limited to: individual education, qualifications, skills, prior work experience, competencies, and geographic work location. The above salary range represents the Company’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Travel Requirements:

  • Occasional business travel may be required, up to 10%.
