Job Summary:
As a Driver at SportsCare Physical Therapy, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely transportation of patients to and from our clinic. You will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and satisfaction of our patients by providing reliable transportation services.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Transportation: Safely transport patients to and from our clinic, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout the journey.
Maintain Vehicle: Regularly inspect and maintain the assigned vehicle to ensure it is in proper working condition, and report any issues to the appropriate personnel for maintenance or repairs.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to patient transportation, including but not limited to safety and licensing requirements.
Punctuality: Arrive promptly at designated pick-up locations to ensure patients' schedules are not disrupted.
Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by assisting patients with getting in and out of the vehicle and addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
Safety: Implement all necessary safety measures to protect both patients and yourself during transportation.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, and other relevant data, and submit them as required by the clinic.
Communication: Keep open lines of communication with clinic staff to ensure a smooth patient transportation process.
Maintain Confidentiality: Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all privacy and HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license.
- Clean driving record.
- Knowledge of and adherence to local and state traffic laws.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with patients in a courteous and professional manner.
