General Job Summary
Deposit Operations Processor is responsible for completing assigned operational duties to ensure efficient delivery of products and services to clients, both internal and external. Monitors system reports as they relate to products and services of the Bank. Works with others to support retail functions related to products and services. May be involved with compliance reviews involving policies, procedures, and government regulations. Serves as backup to other departmental positions during staff shortages.
Summary of Essential Job Functions
- Process incoming and outgoing wire requests via Fiserv Payments Exchange.
- Aids with the daily exception processing including non-post, insufficient funds review, and positive pay.
- Assist as needed with new account review and next day file maintenance review.
- Maintains operational familiarity with Internet Banking, Bill Payment, and other payment processing that may include research to ensure settlement is performed in a timely manner.
- Assists with deposit compliance activities related to regulatory monitoring.
- Help other departments and divisions of the bank for payment research, access changes in various systems, processing questions, and more.
- Aids with updates for branch and/or operational procedures.
- Review indexing of retail staff documentation to confirm required documents are securely stored.
- Daily review of applicable deposit reporting within Fiserv Director module.
- Helps with fraud mitigation as instructed by the BSA Department, working closely with staff and managers to address issues as they arise.
Other Job Functions
- Helps with the implementation of operational efficiencies for Bank and subsidiaries.
- Serves as a point of contact for retail staff for questions and support.
- All other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
Education, Training and Work Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Teller or Deposit Operations-related experience preferred
- Associate degree preferred however, an equivalent combination of education and experience required
- ACH, Check Processing and/or Treasury Management knowledge preferred.
- Fiserv knowledge preferred

- Organizational skills with ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Ability to handle repetitive activities with a high degree of accuracy.

- Ability to interpret and communicate vendor and/or software related changes.
Working Environment
Primary working environment is hybrid with a mostly remote schedule, but with periodic in-office scheduling as needed within an indoor climate-controlled office space. Employee may be subject to florescent lighting, dust, and other normal indoor allergens. Employee will work in close proximity of coworkers and occasionally independently in quiet environments.
Physical Requirements
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Extended periods of sitting (at computer desk).
- Complete repetitive tasks (including operation of computer mouse/keyboard).
