Position Overview:

An Accounting Clerk is responsible for performing a range of general clerical, accounting, and bookkeeping support functions. This role ensures accurate and timely processing of financial transactions and maintains organized records for reporting and auditing purposes.




Requirements

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Process event paperwork and upload all related transactions into NetSuite
  • Reconciliation of the E-commerce transactions
  • Review employee credit card transactions to ensure they comply with the credit card policy before approval
  • Prepare and maintain financial records and reports.
  • Process accounts payable and receivable.
  • Input and manage data in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite).
  • Generate invoices and track payments.
  • Maintain filing systems for financial documents.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal teams regarding financial transactions.
  • Perform administrative tasks related to accounting as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as an accounting clerk or similar role.
  • Familiarity with basic accounting principles and procedures.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software (NetSuite preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
