Job Overview: The Maintenance Person will be responsible for the upkeep, repair, and maintenance of our restaurant facilities to ensure a safe, clean, and functional environment. This role is crucial in maintaining the operational efficiency of the restaurant and ensuring a pleasant experience for our guests and staff. This individual would have a high level of autonomy to accomplish project needs while also being able to work in team environments.

Key Responsibilities

• General Maintenance: Perform maintenance on all restaurant equipment and general building upkeep.

• Repairs: Diagnose and repair minor electrical, plumbing, and mechanical issues as they arise, ensuring that all repairs meet safety and regulatory standards.

• Facility Upkeep: Conduct regular inspections of the interior and exterior of the building, including dining areas, restrooms, and parking lots, to ensure cleanliness and identify any potential hazards.

• Emergency Response: Respond promptly to any maintenance emergencies, such as equipment breakdowns or safety hazards, minimizing disruption to restaurant operations.

• Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain an inventory of maintenance supplies and tools, placing orders as needed to ensure readiness for repairs and upkeep.

• Safety Compliance: Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations, maintaining a safe work environment for all employees.

• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and scheduled servicing, using company-provided tools or software.

Qualifications

• Skills: Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. Basic carpentry and painting skills are also desirable.

• Drivers License: Must have valid drivers license

• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for long periods, and perform physically demanding tasks in various environmental conditions.

• Availability: Flexibility to work early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
