About the Role:

The Facility Rehab Lead plays a critical role in overseeing and coordinating rehabilitation services within a healthcare facility to ensure optimal patient recovery and satisfaction. This position is responsible for leading a multidisciplinary team of rehabilitation professionals, managing daily operations, and implementing best practices to enhance the quality and efficiency of care. The Facility Rehab Lead collaborates closely with medical staff, patients, and families to develop individualized rehabilitation plans that meet clinical standards and patient goals. Additionally, this role involves monitoring compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies to maintain a safe and effective therapeutic environment. Ultimately, the Facility Rehab Lead drives continuous improvement initiatives to elevate patient outcomes and support the facility’s mission of delivering exceptional healthcare services.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Management, Healthcare Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Experience working in a healthcare facility specializing in post-acute care or long-term rehabilitation.
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and rehabilitation documentation software.
  • Certification in healthcare quality improvement or project management (e.g., Six Sigma, PMP).
  • Demonstrated success in leading multidisciplinary teams and driving clinical quality initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise the rehabilitation team, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and support staff, ensuring high-quality patient care.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized rehabilitation plans tailored to patient needs and recovery objectives.
  • Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to integrate rehabilitation services into overall patient care.
  • Manage daily operations of the rehabilitation department, including scheduling, resource allocation, and performance tracking.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and facility policies related to rehabilitation services.
  • Conduct staff training, performance evaluations, and professional development activities to maintain a skilled and motivated team.
  • Analyze patient outcomes and departmental metrics to identify opportunities for process improvements and enhanced service delivery.
  • Serve as a liaison between patients, families, and the rehabilitation team to address concerns and provide education on therapy goals and progress.
