POSITION INFO:

Works to promote vision and values by safely handling preparation of shipments and material transfers to support shipping and receiving activity within the Blytheville facility.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintains shipping & receiving processes to promote safety, efficiency, and accuracy.
  • Maintains appropriate record logs (audits, cycle counts, etc.) as directed by Supervisor.
  • Assures accuracy of shipments by following the correct established process for material removal and placement.
  • Proficient with established picking/ packing methods.
  • Proficient with UPS computer shipping system.
  • Loads & unloads trucks and vans with appropriate material handling equipment.
  • Maintains equipment in accordance to established procedures.
  • Checks incoming freight for accuracy and depositions properly.
  • Keeps work area clean and orderly.
  • Respond to plant requests from FAB 
  • Respond to special shipping requirements
  • Stock placement/removal
  • Pick special orders as required
  • Serve as backup to receiving
  • Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION:

High School diploma or GED

Internal applicants must meet the following criteria:  1) If the posted position is an hourly or salary level 1, the associate must be in their current position for 18 (eighteen) months; 2) if the position is salary level 2 to salary level 5, the associate must be in their current position for 24 (twenty-four) months; and 3) if the position is a salary level 6 or above, the associate must be in their current position for 30 (thirty) months. Internal applicants are limited to advancing no more than two salary levels.
