Role: Direct the operations of a remote Credit Union facility, ensuring the branch meets organizational financial, operational, service, and growth plans.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
*Directs, develops, motivates, hires and disciplines branch personnel; administers performance evaluations and recommends appropriate personnel actions.
*Monitors all branch activities to ensure they are in compliance with established Credit Union policies and procedures.
*Underwrites consumer loans; reviews loan underwriting decisions of subordinate staff.
*Monitors branch operating results relative to established objectives and ensures that appropriate steps are taken to correct unsatisfactory conditions.
*Represents the Branch as appropriate in its relationships with members, sponsor organizations(s), suppliers, other financial institutions, and similar groups. Develops new sponsor organizations and business within the immediate community.
*Maintains communications with main office; prepares and submits standard reports; attends scheduled management meetings.
*Control past due and charged off accounts for the Branch. Employees shall be trained annually, demonstrate an understanding of, and follow the requirements of the BSA/AML Compliance Program as it specifically relates to their job functions.

Knowledge and Skills:
*Experience: One year to three years of similar or related experience.
*Education: (1) A two year college degree or (2) Completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school or (3) Completion of a specialized and extensive in-house training or apprenticeship program.
*Interpersonal Skills: A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact. Work involves extensive personal contact with others and is usually of a personal or sensitive nature. Work may involve motivating, influencing or training others. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) becomes necessary and often requires the ability to influence and/or sell ideas or services to others.
*Other Skills: Strong organizational and analytical skills. Good judgment and problem solving skills. Good oral and written communication skills. General PC skills in word processing and spreadsheets. Ability to handle and monitor multiple tasks.
