What you’ll contribute to 

An exciting opportunity for a Learning Systems Consultant to join our People & Culture division in a permanent full-time position.

The People & Culture Division delivers human resources, best practice advice, and learning and development services to both internal stakeholders and external partners. This includes Toyota employees, dealers, suppliers, vehicle importers, and the wider community, all with the goal of positioning Toyota as an exceptional employer of choice.

The Learning Systems Consultant is primarily responsible for the day-to-day administration of TMCA’s internal Learning Management System (LMS) and serves as the main point of contact for any technical queries or system-related issues, supporting the achievement of TMCA’s internal learning and development goals.

This role is based in Altona North with flexible work arrangements on offer.

How you’ll make an impact 

  • Execute established internal learning system processes and procedures in alignment with defined policies to support the achievement of internal learning objectives. Ensure all process and procedure changes are clearly documented and effectively communicated.

  • Manage reporting systems to deliver accurate and timely information that supports business planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all system-related inquiries, providing technical support to ensure timely and efficient issue resolution. Escalate issues when necessary to mitigate risk.

  • Stay informed on emerging trends within TMCA’s learning environment and coordinate system enhancements that support the effective delivery of training to meet future learning needs.

  • Coordinate forums and meetings to ensure clear communication and understanding of system goals and changes among all stakeholders. Maintain and support supplier relationships to optimise system outcomes for stakeholders.

  • Contribute to the development of processes and procedures for internal learning systems to support the achievement of TMCA’s learning and development objectives.

  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Human Resources, or equivalent relevant experience

  • Experience managing complex data systems (desirable)

  • Proven ability to work with systems, including troubleshooting and issue resolution

  • Skilled in data collation and creating clear, user-friendly reports – intermediate excel skills (desirable)

  • Excellent organisational skills and a strong customer service orientation
