CTG is seeking to fill a Data Governance Consultant opening for our client in San Antonio, TX.
Location: San Antonio, TX
Duration: 6 months
Duties:
Design, implement, and maintain data governance and data management processes.
Conduct stakeholder analysis, develop communication plans, and execute communications.
Create and manage metadata repositories, capture business/data quality rules, and design data quality reports and dashboards.
Collaborate with technical resources to implement data quality rules and automate monitoring/reporting.
Operate issue tracking processes and facilitate resolution with clients.
Provide subject matter expertise in data quality, metadata management, and governance practices.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of data governance frameworks, data quality, and metadata management tools.
Ability to translate business requirements into governance processes and technical specifications.
Proficiency in developing dashboards and reporting for data quality monitoring.
Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Familiarity with issue tracking and resolution processes.
Experience:
5+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or related consulting roles.
Experience implementing data governance frameworks, data quality rules, and metadata management repositories.
Hands-on experience with data governance and data quality technologies preferred.
Background working in cross-functional teams and with diverse stakeholders.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Management, Computer Science, or a related field.
Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., DAMA, CDMP) preferred.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
