Teacher of Media
Melbourne Grammar School is seeking a Teacher of Media at our South Yarra campus. This is a 0.5 FTE fixed term appointment for the 2026 academic year.
This role will see you
- Inspire and foster a passion and appreciation of learning
- Work as a pedagogical educator, committed to driving and sharing best practice with other teachers in the Department
- Facilitate the exploration of student interests, fostering the pursuit of academic and personal growth
- Support the individual wellbeing of our students.
You will:
- Have experience teaching and a passion for the education of students from Years 7 to 12
- Have experience teaching (or an interest in teaching) other subjects in the Creative and Performing Arts Faculty
- Work in partnership to deliver exceptional educational experiences we offer our students
- Collaborate with others to educate and nurture the whole person, fostering each student’s intellectual, spiritual, physical, psychological and emotional growth
- Liaise with Heads of House, House Tutors and other staff regarding the individual welfare of students.
VIT registration, or the ability to gain VIT registration, is essential.
