About the Position:
Performs professional level review of construction plans to ensure compliance with city codes, legal requirements and national standards. May serve as a team leader in coordinating multidisciplinary plan review activities.

Position Duties
Education and Experience
- Three years of experience with construction plan review specific to the job assignment or discipline.
- A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited educational institution in Architecture, Structural Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering or closely related field.
- An equivalent combination of education and / or job related experience that meets the minimum qualifications may be substituted.
Licensing, Certifications and Other Requirements
- Every person employed by the City of Scottsdale shall reside in the State of Arizona during his or her active employment by the City, regardless of whether the employee is approved to remote work.
Community & Economic Development (CED) Assignment:
- Current International Code Council (ICC) certification depending on assignment.
