Credit Controller

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to optimise efficiencies and cashflow.
  • A strong understanding of the business to enable to work effectively.
  • Use multiple systems to retrieve data to assist with obtaining payment.
  • Manage the assigned debt ledger, keep the age debtors to a minimum by using the escalation process.
  • Proactively manage your customer accounts to ensure that cash is collected in a timely manner in line with the agreed payment terms.
  • Resolve disputes within 10 days and subimit wihtin the Credit Collections system.
  • Attend the biweekly or monthly conference calls with Operations and Administration teams regarding the resolution of disputed or overdue debtors.
  • Keep an up-to-date ledger against each document to confirm the status.
  • Reduce the debtors and keep it below 25% overdue, by working with internal stakeholders.
  • Perform ad-hoc duties as required.

What are we looking?

  • Minimum of 2 years as a credit controller
  • located locally (Manchester Airport)
