Inventory Control Specialist at Associated Food Stores Distribution

Note:  Shift is Sunday, Monday and Thursday, Friday 3:30pm to 2:00am

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:

• Inventory Control Specialists work with inventory to ensure retail receives perfect pallets.
• Work with buyers and vendors on new items.
• Work in Salvage, checking in returns.
• Cycle counting.
• Perform quality audits for selection.
• Track misplaced items.
• Inventory Control Specialists check inventory levels.
• Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Excellent attendance.
• Excellent arithmetic, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Heavy lifting, bending, and twisting.
• Flexibility with schedule/hours.
• Good communication and decision-making skills are essential.
• Ability to operate all warehouse equipment as needed.
• Experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, and e-mail is important.
• Knowledge of general distribution center/warehouse operations is helpful.
