The Position:

We're looking for passionate students interested in learning more about careers in Healthcare. Food and health go hand in hand. As a food service intern in healthcare, you are part of the first line of defense to ensure there is a correct menu and order for each of our residents, as well as any special diets set up by our dietitians, doctors, and therapists. Healthcare food service workers help with the overall experience for our residents. 

  • This internship opportunity will run for six to eight weeks during the summer from June to July
  • Interns are required to provide 130 hours over the duration of the internship program 
  • Interns are required to participate in meal preparation with the food service team as well as other expert-led training

 

Requirements:

  • Must 18 years of age
  • High School Graduate OR
  • Current students enrolled in a college level program (i.e. Associates, Bachelors, Masters)
