2026 Investment Internship at Career Opportunities

About the internship:
The Investment Research Intern position is responsible for conducting external manager due diligence, preparing research reports, and proposing investment recommendations. This internship is not remote and located in Omaha, NE and begins in May 2026 and runs through August of 2026.

What you'll do:

Responsibilities reflect how you can make a difference:

• Own and manage investment projects.
• Participate in monthly investment committee meetings and internal Capital Market Expectations meetings.
• Research assigned external investment managers and asset classes and attend due diligence meetings.
• Produce a detailed assessment of managers.
• Prepare and present a company research report.
• Participate in weekly discussions on capital market dynamics.
• Assist in preparation of client financial reporting and presentations.
• Assist in client portfolio management projects.
• Describe the specific responsibilities and job functions of the role

Qualifications:

• Both undergrad and graduate students are invited to apply.
• Coursework in finance, accounting, securities analysis and business.
• Understanding of equity and fixed income markets with a passion for investing.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills are required.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with FactSet, MorningStar Direct, Zephyr StyleAdvisor and/or Bloomberg is a plus.
• CFA Track candidates preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel.
