Independence Construction | Marketing Coordinator

Independence Construction is seeking a driven Marketing Coordinator to support our growing team. This role focuses on proposal development, branding, content creation, and digital marketing. The ideal candidate is highly organized, creative, and skilled at managing multiple projects while keeping our brand message sharp and consistent.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business development and operations teams to write, edit, and produce proposals and qualifications.
  • Design and create engaging PowerPoint presentations for client and internal meetings.
  • Work with the Marketing Manager to develop branded content and manage social media, including content calendars, engagement, analytics, reputation management, and trend monitoring.
  • Lead expansion into video and photography, building media libraries and creating quick-turn assets (live video, stories, etc.).
  • Develop and maintain marketing collateral including project sheets, resumes, brochures, newsletters, and other branded materials.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all internal and external communications, advertisements, and event materials.
  • Support award submissions in collaboration with business development, operations, and safety staff.
  • Assist with rollout of new branding standards across templates, sales materials, and the website.
  • Produce quarterly company dashboard with input from multiple departments.
  • Create custom signage and graphics as needed to support projects and company culture initiatives.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
  • 2–5 years’ experience in marketing/administration in the A/E/C industry, including RFQ/RFP response.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with all levels of staff and clients.
  • Experience developing graphic layouts, presentations, and marketing materials; design skills a plus.
  • Expertise in Adobe InDesign; proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with social media, especially LinkedIn.
  • Experience with Canva, Constant Contact (or similar), Salesforce a plus.
  • Highly organized, able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines independently.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.

Do you have what it takes?
