Position Summary:
2nd Swing Golf is proud to offer a new and exciting opportunity for individuals who are interested in Club Fitting. We are launching an 18 month program for those seeking an intensive pathway to becoming a Certified Club Fitter within our company.
The ultimate goal of this rigorous program is to equip participants with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel as a Club Fitter. As a Fitter in Training, you'll embark on a comprehensive and immersive journey designed to develop your expertise in club fitting and sales. Learning the business as a store associate, participants will engage in specific training, mentoring and hands-on experience leading to a position as a 2nd Swing Certified Club Fitter.
Please be aware that admission into this highly selective program will be limited to only the most qualified and motivated individuals who demonstrate a strong aptitude and interest in club fitting. Qualified candidates must be eager to learn, dedicated to professional growth, possess a desire to give back to the game of golf and committed to providing exceptional service to our customers.
Responsibilities:
In order to learn the entirety of our retail business at the store level, each participant in the program will spend time in the following areas :
- Building rapport with golfers
- Creating positive, engaging and best in industry one-on-one fitting experiences
- Utilization of Trackman launch monitors, Quintic and Foresight systems to facilitate fittings
- Guiding golfers through the equipment selection process
- Product merchandising and organization
- Extending customer service through trade-in transactions and point-of-sale
- Executing club repair
- Accomplishing related tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- A passion for the game of golf
- Experience as a tournament or college level player
- Above average knowledge of golf equipment and technology
- Aptitude for understanding the technical aspects of golf equipment
- Previous employment in golf industry (Preferred)

Compensation:
- $24 - $28 per hour based on golf experience
