Summary
The Analyst is responsible for managing and improving the AAA Roadside Assistance Billing and Payment system, which ensures clubs are accurately reimbursed for roadside services provided to members. This role coordinates key financial and operational functions, including auditing monthly roadside transactions, processing reimbursements, and ensuring data accuracy. The Analyst also develops reports, maintains data models, troubleshoots issues, and recommends process or system enhancements. Serving as the primary point of contact for AAA clubs on reimbursement matters, this position plays a critical role in ensuring smooth financial operations and continuous system improvement.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze roadside assistance claims to ensure services and charges submitted by AAA clubs are accurate and compliant with program policies.
- Exercise sound judgment within established guidelines to ensure clubs are accurately and promptly reimbursed for service provider expenses.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of program rate structures and apply them consistently across reimbursement activities.
- Communicate effectively with AAA clubs and clients regarding services, reimbursement processes, and applicable rates.
- Produce and analyze recurring data reports to track ongoing costs for each roadside assistance program.
- Serve as the department's primary point of contact with club managers regarding reimbursement issues, audit submissions in the Billing and Payment system, and guide corrective actions.
- Validate call details for selected roadside service deliveries to confirm data accuracy before reimbursement, following up with clubs for clarification when needed.
- Support the manager in collecting and reviewing data for the annual service provider analysis, including club-by-club rate adjustment determinations.
- Assist with maintaining program policies and procedures manuals, and post statistical details on the internal site (AICWEB).
- Research and resolve credit card billing disputes.
- Perform additional duties and tasks assigned by management.
Requirements, Competencies, and Certifications:
- Manages time efficiently, anticipates challenges, adjusts priorities, and communicates progress.
- Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent organization and time management abilities.
- Adaptable, self-motivated, and practical in fast-paced, deadline-driven settings.
- Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and databases.
- Quick learner, works independently.
- Skilled in researching, consolidating, and analyzing statistical data.
- Provides excellent customer service.
Education & Experience:
AA degree in business administration, statistics, or relevant field experience
Minimum of three (3) years of directly related job experience.
Hiring Range: $21.23 - $25.66 an hour
This position is also eligible for participation in AAA, Inc.'s Annual Incentive Plan.
