Senior Landscape Architect I at None

The Senior Landscape Architect position requires a high level of technical expertise including the preparation of entitlement documents as well as site plans, landscape plans and other permit documents.  Position potentially includes management of staff and daily organization of planning team.   There will be a significant amount of client contact, including some business development.  Additional responsibilities include:

• Residential and commercial site grading
• Review of zoning ordinances and subdivision ordinances
• Experience with Entitlement documents and public hearings
• Review of forest conservation ordinances and preparation of tree conservation plans
• Preparation of hand drawn and CAD designs
• Preparation of construction documents, specifications, reports and coordination of work with other design disciplines

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture
• Experience and familiarity with Montgomery County, Maryland
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• 7-8 years’ experience with entitlement work
• Registered Landscape Architect in the state of Maryland required
• Proficient in Microstation (AutoCAD acceptable)
