The Junior Network Engineer will provide day-to-day support for ANDMORE’s enterprise network infrastructure, ensuring reliable connectivity across corporate offices, campuses, and event venues. This role is ideal for an early-career professional looking to build hands-on experience with enterprise networking technologies in a dynamic, high-volume environment. Working closely with senior engineers, the Junior Network Engineer will assist with monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining both wired and wireless systems while developing skills in advanced routing, switching, firewalls, and cloud networking.
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network devices including switches, routers, access points, and firewalls.
- Monitor network performance and availability, escalating issues as
- Provide Tier 1–2 support for network-related helpdesk tickets, including Wi-Fi, VPN, and connectivity issues.
- Participate in troubleshooting outages, latency issues, and performance bottlenecks under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Support setup and tear-down of temporary event networks, ensuring reliable guest Wi-Fi and vendor access.
- Maintain accurate documentation of network topology, configurations, and standard operating
- Assist with implementing security policies, patches, and updates across network
- Collaborate with the Infrastructure and IT Operations teams to ensure systems remain secure and compliant.
- Stay current with emerging networking technologies and pursue certifications to advance technical knowledge.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent hands-on experience.
- 0–2 years of professional IT/networking experience (internships, labs, or academic projects accepted).
- Basic understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, and wireless
- Familiarity with enterprise network equipment (Cisco, Aruba, Palo Alto, ) preferred.
- Coursework or certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or equivalent are a
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a willingness to learn from senior team
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team
