The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of customer lifecycle marketing, from onboarding to advocacy. You will be responsible for creating and executing marketing programs that drive customer engagement, advocacy, and retention. In this role, you’ll work across go-to-market pods (Business Development, Sales, Client Services) to engage our existing clients, uncover new opportunities within accounts, and build programs that directly influence revenue. You'll be a key player in showcasing the value we bring to our clients and turning them into our biggest advocates.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and nurture client champions to support sales cycles and industry visibility.
  • Develop campaigns that support upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Partner with Client Services and Sales Directors to accelerate renewal and expansion deals.
  • Create engagement initiatives (events, newsletters, learning sessions) that strengthen client relationships.
  • Drive participation in webinars, workshops, roundtables, and speaking opportunities.
  • Collect and analyze customer feedback (CSAT, NPS, surveys) and translate it into insights for Marketing, Sales, and CS.
  • Support vertical pods by providing customer stories, proof points, and targeted campaigns tailored to industries.
  • Build and manage a customer advocacy program to encourage referrals, online reviews, and participation in speaking engagements.
  • Track and analyze key customer marketing metrics to measure program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, preferences, and pain points.

What Success Looks Like

  • Clear visibility of customer advocacy across pods.
  • Direct attribution of expansion revenue to customer marketing campaigns.
  • Higher retention and stronger upsell/cross-sell momentum.
  • Client stories fueling sales enablement and demand generation.

KPIs

  • Engage at least 30% of active customer accounts per quarter through Customer Marketing campaigns (webinars, newsletters, advocacy programs, or surveys).
  • Engage at least 30% of our support accounts with a renewal date in the next six months per quarter through Customer Marketing campaigns (renewal communications, advocacy programs, events, or surveys).
  • Achieve at least 25–30% participation from all active client accounts in quarterly CSAT or NPS surveys.
  • Create 2–3 new advocacy assets per quarter (case studies, testimonials, etc).

Qualifications

  • 4-6 years of experience in a customer-facing marketing role, preferably within a B2B or agency environment.
  • Proven track record of success in developing and executing customer marketing programs that drive engagement and retention.
  • Strong program management and stakeholder alignment skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to turn customer wins into compelling stories.
  • Comfortable with HubSpot or other CRMs for tracking campaign results and pipeline influence.
  • Data-driven mindset, with the ability to analyze results and make data-informed decisions.
  • Experience in the technology or digital services industry is a plus.

Compensation

  • $65,000 - $75,000 USD
