The primary role of the National Sales Manager is to create and execute a plan to drive sales growth within the specified accounts. The position will be required to forecast yearly sales and achieve a pre-determined budget each month. The National Sales Manager will report directly to the VP of Sales and will be accountable for effectively communicating any issues, problems, and requests from the determined list of accounts.
Responsibilities/expectations:
- Responsible for implementing the strategy to grow the assigned B2B accounts.
- Establishing and fostering relationships with buyers, sales representatives, merchants, etc. within each organization to grow the book of business.
- Educating our strategic partners on Flash Furniture products through webinars, in person trainings (when appropriate), and dispersing marketing materials. The position is encouraged to join partners sales reps in selling in projects to large contracts.
- Managing the product assortment (including ecommerce, where applicable) with each account and driving growth by adding new products, ensuring content is held to the high Flash Furniture standard, and working with buyers on their yearly initiatives.
- Working with the VP of Sales to implement organizational best practices for the B2B Sales team.
- Partner with accounts to overcome obstacles, to ensure continuity, and to drive a best-in-class customer experience.
- Providing feedback to management regarding client buying trends and growth patterns to uncover opportunities and account coverage needs.
The National Sales Manager will also be asked to participate in the following activities:
- Attend industry/customer tradeshows and represent the company at these events
- Events for recognition and team building.
- Any additional activities that may arise within the organization not listed here.
Requirements:
- Commercial and/or Ecommerce Account Management Experience
- 3 Years Minimum Sales Experience
- Experience using and logging data in a CRM
- Ability to thrive in a team environment, as well as act as individual contributor
- Proficient in use of MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent business experience
- Professional approach and demonstration of business acumen
- Understanding of sales and closing techniques
Preferred:
- Experience with Salesforce.com
- Sales Experience with outbound calls and selling strategies to close sales deals.
- Knowledge of Furniture industry including: Office, Rental, Residential and Public Sector
