Function and Scope:
The MedAxiom Member Services Director plays a vital role in supporting and engaging our cardiovascular membership community by ensuring members maximize the value of MedAxiom’s resources, data, and programs. We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in cardiovascular practice and/or service line operations who brings excellent organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills. The ideal candidate will have high attention to detail and be skilled at managing multiple priorities, working with data, and partnering with members to advance cardiovascular care.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Increase member engagement and value in membership resources: MedAxcess, Academy, CV Transforum, Listservs, Resources/Publications, Ventures, and services provided by Care Transformation and Revenue Cycle teams.
- Maintain deep understanding of MedAxcess database in order to find, explain and share data with members as requested.
- Maintain deep understanding of Salesforce, working with Member Services and other teams to ensure accuracy of information for all assigned accounts and contacts
- Be readily available for members to connect through email and by phone; respond to any requests within 24 hours.
- Provide assistance in developing, planning, and implementing membership strategies for the organization.
- Assist Members Services team members in establishing department objectives related to growth, retention, and performance standards.
- Assist Finance in helping to work any overdue account receivables for membership.
- Monitor and post questions as requested to listservs; provide summaries to listserv questions when appropriate.
- Assist IT with MedAxcess data submissions, review data for accuracy, and communicate with members to participate and submit data in a timely fashion.
- Help maintain yearly membership retention goal by working with at-risk members and communicating regarding engagement. Identify opportunities to improve member value.
- Help with new member and pipeline leads as requested. Monitor incoming requests to membership from the website and membership email address and provide assistance when needed.
- Provide orientation for all assigned new member accounts.
- Assist with CV Transforum conferences including agenda planning, speaking invites, conference attendance, pod planning and Partner Pulse participation. Travel to all MedAxiom membership meetings (2 times a year) and any other essential meetings deemed necessary by leadership.
- Connect with each assigned member account at least once per quarter.
- Assist the Care Transformation and Revenue Cycle teams by identifying and communicating engagement opportunities and providing
- MedAxcess data support when needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, management, communications or healthcare field.
- Prior experience (minimum of 2 years required; 5 or more years preferred) in a cardiovascular practice or cardiovascular service line at a hospital/health system.
- Exceptional customer service skills in working with clients/members and internal stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational skills including time management, attention to detail, and multi-tasking.
- Superior interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to research and analyze data and present reports.
- Ability to exercise a high degree of initiative, resourcefulness, judgment, discretion and decision-making in the performance of assigned tasks.
- Ability to organize and integrate multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to work autonomously with limited direction.
- Ability to travel on occasion (approximately two domestic trips per year).

MedAxiom and ACC believes in fair and equitable pay. Multiple factors are taken into consideration when we determine what salary to offer a selected candidate. These factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, as well as internal equity, market, and business considerations. Our salary ranges differ based on the cost of labor in the local market where the job will be performed. For this role in high-cost of labor markets (e.g. California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, New York, Washington) the target base salary range is: $85,000 - $105,000. The salary ranges for other locations in the US (if applicable) will vary based on the local labor market; ACC’s Recruitment Team will be able to provide more information to candidates during initial discussions.
COVID Considerations:
As an employer in the public health space, and an organization that serves members and partners who are essential medical personnel, MedAxiom requires all staff, temporary employees, and contractors to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 before working onsite at MedAxiom or attending MedAxiom events.
