Position Description:
We seek a highly motivated Associate Scientist to join a dynamic team of professionals in the Technology Access team to support our company mission. In this role, you will work cross-functionally across multiple teams including R&D, Sales and Marketing to design, execute and deliver NULISA immunoassay collaboration projects as part of the Technology Access Program. An ideal candidate will have a background in proteomics and bring hands-on experience in sequencing workflows, NGS library preparation, and automated liquid handling instruments. The ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment is highly preferred.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design, execute and analyze multi-plex NULISA immunoassay experiments to assess various biomarkers across diverse biological matrices.
- Perform NGS library preparation, set up and execute NGS instruments.
- Maintain documentation and analysis of large set of NGS datasets, prepare summary reports and present to internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to ensure the timely and accurate completion of deliverables.
- Explore new applications for NULISA immunoassays, cultivate collaborations with KOLs, and prepare abstracts and posters for scientific conferences.
Skills & Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Immunology, Neuroscience, Biochemistry, or a related discipline with 1-2 years of relevant industry experience. A B.S. degree with extensive relevant industry experience may also be considered.
- Hands-on experience with generating and analyzing NGS sequencing datasets.
- Experience with immunoassays, such as ELISA, Luminex, and MSD.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of emerging reagents, immunoassay technologies, biomarker discovery, assay prototyping, performance optimization, and control system design.
- Ability to disseminate and summarize scientific literature to a broad interdisciplinary audience.
The base salary range for this full-time position is $105,000 - $120,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The ranges displayed on each job posting reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries but are subject to change if the leveling of the role is adjusted.
