They are seeking a Development Manager to expand fundraising capacity by managing grants, donor communications, campaigns, and events, while supporting the CEO in building strong donor relationships. To thrive as the Development Manager, you should have: 2–5 years of nonprofit development or related experience.Comfortable with CRM/databases, email platforms, and social media.Proven success with grant writing and donor communications.Solid organizational and project management skills with excellent written and verbal communication to be a persuasive storyteller.Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team culture.Passion for community impact and alignment with the client's mission. Your responsibilities as the Development Manager will include: Lead donor engagement and communications by managing the CRM, creating appeals and impact reports, and supporting stewardship activities.Drive fundraising campaigns and events, including annual appeals, community fundraisers, and donor appreciation gatherings.Manage sponsorships and grants through research, writing, reporting, and maintaining compliance with deadlines.Oversee development operations, ensuring accurate reporting, systems management, and volunteer/intern coordination.Support leadership and board engagement in fundraising strategy and donor relationship-building.
