Duties:
- Coordinates all activities related to the project(s).
- Interfaces and serves as liaison with Campus, College, and Department administrations to accomplish project(s) outcomes.
- Writes and proofreads messaging for print and digital publications, to include but not limited to website content, new and feature articles, blogs, social media posts
Writes original content by creatively compiling information collected through research, interviewing, and gathering materials from the requested party.
Ensures the messaging is accurate, clear, and fits within branding guidelines.
- Conduct interviews, collect data, and information needed to accurately and credibly craft messages.
- Works with requesting parties to ensure understanding project needs and gather a sense of the target audience.
- Attends meetings and workgroup sessions
- Performs related duties as assigned or as required to successfully fulfill functions of the position
Required Education: Bachelor's degree, AND:
- 24 months of project management or related experience.
Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in copy writing, editing, proofreading and composition.
- Knowledge of different media sites and sources.
- Ability to be organized and meet deadlines in a timely manner.
- Interpersonal skills.
Certifications: None
