The Hermosa Beach City School District is nestled in a beautiful beach city just 7 miles south of the LAX airport. HBCSD is currently comprised of three school sites, Hermosa View, Hermosa Vista, and Hermosa Valley School. We are a TK through 8th grade school district with a friendly staff, an involved parent community, and high expectations. Our mission is to work in partnership with our community to empower and prepare students to achieve and thrive by providing a relevant education, a safe and healthy environment, and an inclusive culture. We are seeking talented individuals that are willing to support our vision and meet our growing community’s needs.

Under supervision, to assist special education teachers and students in classroom and resource room operations; to work with special education students individually and in small groups in accordance with instructions; and to perform related work as required. Paraeducators work Monday through Friday, 31hours per week.

Salary placement depends upon experience
