The Walnut Creek School District is seeking a guest teacher for a long-term substitute position from late October 2025 through January 2026 in a third-grade classroom.

EdJoin Certificated Application Resume Valid California Multiple Subject, Single Subject Credential, TPSL, 30-day sub permit (with experience) or the ability to obtain one. Please be sure to list at least two current references.

Placement on WCSD Salary Schedule or daily sub rate

Applications reviewed and accepted throughout the school year. The Walnut Creek School District is located in Northern California in the Bay Area. We operate five K-5 neighborhood elementary schools (three with TK), one K-8 school, and one 6-8 intermediate school. Grades TK-5 are primarily self-contained, while grades 6-8 offer a mixture of core and elective classes. The district serves a population of approximately 3,600 students within the city of Walnut Creek.
