CUHSD is looking for a self-motivated individual to join our team as a HVAV Master Technician. Previous experience is preferred. Five (5) years of skilled experience in HVAC and/or electrical trade; with three (3) years minimum as HVAC service technician. The ideal candidate will be bilingual (English/Spanish), self-motivated, have good attendance and a friendly demeanor, and align with the District's core values of honesty, integrity and respect.
Under general direction of the Facilities and Grounds Supervisor or their designee, performs skilled mechanical maintenance duties in the inspection, repair, installation and alteration of District heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems and related equipment and facilities; performs preventative maintenance and routine servicing of equipment; prepares and maintains records related to work performed and materials used. Assures classrooms, offices, gyms and other District facilities are kept at comfortable temperatures.

Requirements / Qualifications
Required Education, Experience Certificates, and Licenses:
- High school graduation or G.E.D. equivalent
- HVAC and Refrigerant Certification
- Five (5) years of skilled experience in HVAC and/or electrical trade; with three (3) years minimum as HVAC service technician
- Valid Class C California Driver’s License and acceptable driving record
- Ability to obtain forklift certification within six (6) months of employment
