Scope of Position:
We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Inside Sales/ Project Coordinator to support local customers and teams in NS. This role is critical in ensuring sales and project processes run smoothly from lead generation to close. This is a customer facing role that requires collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders to deliver on project goals, while exceeding our customers expectations.
What you'll do on a typical day:
Contract Administration:
- Review of tender documents for upcoming work/projects (CANS, Construct Connect) to find new projects and revenue streams.
- Provide administrative support to TSCs for ERF’s, CDS, contract creation and preliminary pricing.
- Complete internal documents for contract and engineering request submissions.
- Create “Yard Accounts” to proactively ensure client accounts are setup for future order requirements.
Project Coordination:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, order entries, processing and follow-ups.
- Site support for new project startups – field material training for clients, 24 hour material delivery check, etc.
- Establish clear communication and regular reporting to keep all internal stakeholders (Sales, Design, Operations) aligned and to ensure critical information is reported.
- Coordinate required work on design, material delivery on site and returns.
- Work closely with engineering on re-designs, when required.
- Keep stakeholders informed about material changes/shortages.
- Accompany Technical Sales Consultants on calls to visit key clients.
- Work with clients/CCA to advise on anticipated material returns, material deliveries and possible deviations from the plan.
Financial Management:
- Support customers with credit applications and project creation in our system.
- Follow-up on PERI account status for credit applications, credit checks, credit check updates etc.
- Prepare detailed material lists to match delivery and invoicing agreement for targeted customers/projects.
Client Satisfaction:
- Collect client feedback on ongoing projects to ensure client concerns are brought forward in real time.
- Support job closeouts as needed, and conduct job closeout satisfaction surveys with the customer.
Other Duties:
- Local support for TSC vacation & PTO coverage to reduce sales response time to clients during an absence.
- Work with TSC to update sales pipeline forecast.
- Field reconnaissance for project sites, systems, competitive offerings to the market, territory tower crane status.
- Sales introductions and promotion of offered components formoil, formply, waterstop etc to clients.
- Local material stock inventory for common items used in the territory and updating quantity needs as required.
- Help organize PERI Functions such as client entertainment events, lunch & learns, in house and outside product demonstrations.
- Creation and client support for PERI SHOP Orders.
- Other duties as assigned.
What you'll need to be successful:
- A degree in Civil Engineering or Business; a diploma in a construction-related program, or relative industry experience.
- Experience within the construction industry, civil engineering or technical understanding is an asset.
- Project Management experience.
- Proven customer service experience (preferably within a sales environment).
- Demonstrated presentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office: Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Advanced communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail.
- A self-starter and independent thinker.

- An analytical approach to problem solving.
