ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
NP Digital is seeking an experienced SEO Manager to join our Spain team. In this role, you will balance the daily management of SEO strategy for enterprise and mid-market clients, while mentoring SEO team members ranging from Associates to Strategists. You will be responsible for implementing data-backed SEO strategies to maximize performance, developing and presenting client reports, and supporting the VP, Earned Media in scaling the team and refining best-in-class SEO processes.
This is a hands-on position with significant room for growth, perfect for a leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about driving measurable impact through SEO innovation.
To be considered, candidates must reside and be eligible to work in Spain and are required to be fluent in Spanish and English.
This is a hybrid position with 3 days working from our Madrid office.
ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own and drive strategic direction for client SEO campaigns, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Plan, manage, and execute best-in-class organic search strategies, including account setup, onboarding, and cross-channel integration.
- Conduct and oversee ongoing optimization efforts: technical audits, keyword research and mapping, metadata development, on-page and off-page optimization, and content ideation/planning.
- Lead client communications, presenting recommendations and building strong relationships with stakeholders at varied levels of SEO knowledge.
- Support new business efforts by providing SEO audits, opportunity analyses, and input on proposals.
- Mentor, coach, and support SEO team members, fostering professional growth and delivering constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with Content, Paid Media, and other departments to ensure integrated strategies.
- Demonstrate initiative by leading advanced projects and contributing to internal process improvements.
- Ensure clear storytelling through data and reporting, translating results into actionable insights.
ABOUT YOU
- 6–8 years of hands-on experience in SEO with a proven record of managing campaigns for large enterprise clients.
- 1+ years of team leadership or management experience required.
- Strong technical SEO expertise, with experience across multiple CMS platforms and ability to troubleshoot issues.
- Proficiency in tools such as Google Analytics, GA4, Adobe Analytics, Google Looker Studio, Ahrefs, BrightEdge, Search Console, Semrush, Sistrix, etc.
- Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to simplify complex SEO concepts for clients and internal stakeholders.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing holistic SEO strategies tied to measurable business outcomes.
- Highly organized with excellent project management skills and attention to detail.
- Collaborative mindset with strong leadership qualities; committed to mentoring and elevating team members.
- Comfortable contributing to thought leadership on SEO topics and supporting company visibility in the industry.
