We are currently seeking a Full-Time Enhancement Lead to join our property services team based in Lancaster, PA. As an Enhancement Lead you will be responsible for leading and managing landscape enhancement projects for our commercial and residential clients. This role involves overseeing crews, coordinating materials and equipment, and ensuring high-quality execution of landscape upgrades and installations.
Responsibilities of our Enhancement Lead:
- Leads and directs team members with responsibility for work quality and efficiency, performance evaluations, makes recommendations for staffing levels, pay adjustments and schedules vacation. Capable of leading the whole department of co-workers and properly training them on the basic skills of grounds maintenance
- Ensures that corporate safety policies and programs are communicated and adhered to by all co-workers within the team, including PPE requirements. Demonstrates the ability to work safely with others
- Performs onsite inspections of properties to determine when subcontractors or company work force must be utilized
- Plan and manage landscape enhancement projects including seasonal color, plant installations, hardscapes, and irrigation improvements
- Supervise and train enhancement crews to ensure safety, efficiency, and quality standards
- Communicate with clients to understand project goals, provide updates, and ensure satisfaction
- Coordinate procurement and delivery of materials and equipment
- Monitor project budgets, timelines, and labor hours
- Identify opportunities for additional enhancements on client properties and support sales efforts
- Conduct site inspections and quality control checks
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations
- Conducts yearly evaluations for coworkers under the enhancement side of the department 201
- Must be able to navigate on computer using Microsoft excel, PowerPoint and/or various programs for department 201.
- Performs enhancements projects including seasonal color, plant installations, hardscapes, and irrigation improvements, etc
- Lifts up to 50 lbs. of tools, equipment and supplies to perform tasks
- Possesses working knowledge of all hand equipment and understands the required maintenance, safety, PPE and care for each tool
- Demonstrates working knowledge of and completes all seasonal responsibilities and tasks
- Completes required paperwork on a daily basis
- Demonstrates the ability to take initiative and learn about procedures and technical aspects of the position or tasks. Able to use discretion in making decisions
- Attends required training/educational courses as specified by supervisor and company
- Maintains clean and orderly work
- Performs special assignments as directed
Minimum Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalency
- At least three (3) or more years of experience in landscape construction or enhancement
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Strong knowledge of horticulture, landscape design, and irrigation systems.
- Must be able to diagnose problems with trees, shrubs, turf and identify insects.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to read and interpret landscape plans and blueprints.
- Valid driver’s license required (CDL preferred).
- Obtain Spray Licenses 6,7,10, and 14 within 12 months of employment
