Shipping Clerk- 1st Shift (7am-3:30pm)- Lakeview at Byrne Electrical Specialists

Job Summary: Byrne Electrical Specialists is seeking a motivated individual to join the shipping team to help with every day shipping needs.                                                                         

Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Job Requirements:

• Arrange for the timely and accurate shipment of all customer orders.
• Process packages for shipping, ensuring order is complete and all necessary paperwork and labeling is attached.
• Arrange product on skids per customer requirements and prepare for shipment.
• Prepare necessary paperwork for shipments (examples include Bills of Lading, Customs Paperwork, and Packing Slips.)
• Contact carriers to schedule outbound shipments.
• Gather completed production from the lines and bring to Shipping to assemble and ship order.
• This position follows a standard schedule of 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. However, flexibility is required, as end times may occasionally be extended to accommodate late-arriving trucks or ensure all shipments are fully palletized and ready for departure.
• Overtime may be either mandatory or voluntary depending on operational needs. When overtime is required or offered, it will generally occur before the 7:00 AM start time or for a few hours on Saturday.

Skills/Experience Required:

The ideal candidate for this role has a great attitude, takes initiative, is organized, detail oriented, able to multi-task and work effectively in a team. The candidate must be able to communicate well with customers, vendors, other employees and leadership.  Candidate must have a minimum of 1-year experience in a shipping area.
