  Position:    Extended Day Critical Skills Instructor
  Evaluated by:   Principal/Assistant Principal
  Employment Term:   Instructional Term for Students, As Needed
  Qualifications:   Holds a West Virginia Professional Certificate endorsed for elementary education or special education at the grade levels appropriate for this assignment (grades K-5).  Regular employment status at the assigned school preferred.
  Responsibilities:  Responsible for critical skills instruction for students struggling with reading and/or mathematics to include:
  - Utilization of a computer-based instructional component
  - Teacher led small group instruction to enhance reading fluency and comprehension or address specific obstacles identified through diagnostic assessment
  - Instruction on mathematics facts, skills or concepts to reinforce classroom learning
  
  Maximum Participation:   Maximum of 2 Hours Weekly, Schedule To Be Determined By School
