The Hawthorne Public Schools is seeking a highly qualified and dedicated educational leader to serve as a Long-Term Replacement Administrator. The successful candidate will support the daily operations of the school, provide leadership for staff and students, and ensure a safe and positive learning environment. The position will be for three days per week.
Valid New Jersey School Administrator, Principal, or Supervisor Certification is required.
Director of Guidance Certification is preferred.
Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and management of school operations during the long-term replacement period.
Support and supervise the Guidance Department, ensuring comprehensive academic, college/career, and social-emotional programming for students.
Oversee and manage the crisis intervention process, collaborating with staff and external agencies as needed.
Coordinate and monitor the Harassment, Intimidation, and Bullying (HIB) process, including investigations, reporting, and compliance with state regulations.
Supervise instructional staff and ensure high-quality teaching and learning.
Support student discipline, attendance, and overall well-being.
Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and the community.
Collaborate with central office and school-based staff to support academic, social, and emotional growth of students.
Perform other administrative duties as assigned by the Superintendent.
Salary: $250 per diem/No Benefits
