- Diagnose and repair diesel and gasoline engines, transmissions, hydraulics, electrical systems, and drive components on a fleet that includes but not limited to medium-duty trucks and tractor trailers to specialty equipment such as trailers, vac trucks, guzzlers, hydro-excavators, and water blasters.
- Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) on trucks, trailers, and specialty equipment to reduce downtime and extend service life.
- Maintaining and repairing the mounted contractor's equipment contained on vehicles.
- Conduct DOT inspections, document findings and maintain accurate repair logs.
- Safely operate shop equipment, diagnostic tools, and specialty instruments.
- Collaborate with supervisors to prioritize and complete repairs quickly and effectively.
- Adherent to safety standards, company policies, and environmental regulations
- 4-On / 2-Off Rotating Schedule – work four 10-hour days, then enjoy two days off. Weekend work shared equally and built into the rotation, with guaranteed time off before and after your weekend shifts.

- Valid Commercial Driver's License required.
- 5 years of experience as a diesel mechanic, heavy equipment technician, or similar role.
- Own tools, aside from specialty tools specific to companies’ equipment.
- Working knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
- Ability to pass safety training exams and background check required.
- Welding and fabrication skills a plus
- Must be able to lift 50+ lbs., work in a physically demanding environment, and occasionally respond to field service calls.
- Is conscientious, dependable, and quality-minded, while prioritizing safety.
