Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and forward-thinking IT Systems & Network Specialist to join our growing IT team. This role will be instrumental in modernizing our identity and access management posture, supporting and developing our Microsoft 365 and Azure environment, and strengthening our networking and security posture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and optimize Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and Intune.
- Lead the transition from on-prem Active Directory to Microsoft Entra ID, including planning, migration, and ongoing management.
- Maintain and troubleshoot LAN/WAN infrastructure, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless networks.
- Implement and maintain security best practices across access control, identity, cloud, and network systems, including conditional access, MFA, and role-based access controls.
- Use Scripting, A.I., and other tools to automate identity, system, and network tasks.
- Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams, including documentation and training.
- Drive initiatives related to identity modernization, cloud adoption, and infrastructure improvements.
Dev Ops Responsibilities:
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as a liaison between development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth handoffs and shared understanding.
- Participate in regular DevOps syncs to align on priorities, blockers, and deployment readiness.
- Process Improvement
- Identify inefficiencies in the software delivery lifecycle and propose actionable improvements.
- Contributes to the design and implementation of CI/CD (Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery/Deployment) pipelines and automation strategies.
- Quality Assurance Support
- Assist in defining and executing testing strategies that ensure code quality and operational readiness.
- Help validate that development work meets operational requirements before production deployment.
- Monitoring & Feedback
- Collaborate on setting up monitoring, logging, and alerting for new deployments.
- Participate in post-deployment reviews and incident retrospectives to drive continuous improvement.
- Documentation & Knowledge Sharing
- Maintain clear documentation of DevOps processes, tools, and best practices.
- Share knowledge and mentor team members on DevOps principles and tools.
- Accountability & Ownership
- Take shared ownership of the end-to-end delivery process, from development through to production.
- Ensure that work does not stall in QA and that all necessary validations are completed in a timely manner.
Qualifications
Competencies:
- Extensive Experience with Microsoft 365 administration and identity management.
- Strong understanding of Active Directory, Entra ID (Azure AD), and hybrid identity models
- Familiarity with networking technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls).
- Experience with PowerShell or Python scripting and automation.
- Experience with A.I. LLM and Agent development.
- Knowledge of security and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO, HIPAA).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft certifications (e.g., MS-102, SC-300, AZ-104).
- Experience with Entra ID governance, lifecycle management, and conditional access policies.
- Familiarity with SAP S/4 Hanna support & integration is a plus.
- Familiarity with Linux is a plus.
- Experience with BI tools or data platforms is a plus.
Physical Demands / Typical Work Environment Requirements:
- The Associate is required to constantly stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch for up to 10-12 hours a day.
- The Associate is constantly required to reach and grasp.
- The Associate must frequently exert up to 100 pounds of force infrequently, and/or 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 pounds frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Abiliity to work in various temperatures down to -10°F (Dry, refrigerated, & Freezer)
- The ability to move frequently throughout a large facility is required.
- Additionally, you may be required to lift, sit, stand, walk, twist, turn, stretch, push, pull, bend, or reach, both below waist and above the head, at any time to fulfill your job description.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is an exempt-level position, with various work hours and days, based on business needs. This position often requires evening, weekend, and holiday work. This position also requires after-hours and on-call support availability 24/7.
