Responsibilities
- Strategic development and enhancement of global key accounts, e.g. prepare sales specific strategies, improve contribution margin
- Responsible for rate negotiations with both customer and trade management
- Provide feedback on the market including rates, competition activities, market conditions etc. to all relevant stakeholders
- Conduct customer and Area visits (Preparation, Execution, Follow-up and Documentation)
- Self-driven in presenting and selling HL products, services and tariffs
- Pro-active contribution in developing, implementing and using new systems (Opportunity and Allocation Management, Salesforce etc.)
- Engagement in projects
- Realization of Global GNP strategy
Qualifications
- Experience in Liner Shipping/Logistics
- Experience in negotiating, projecting confidence, integrity and cost awareness
- Self-responsible, reliable and self-motivating personality
- High interest in digital transformation
- Able to work well with others
- Out-of-the-box thinking and working
- Comprehensive knowledge of system applications (FIS, Excel, Salesforce, Qlikview, MS Teams)
- Very good written and spoken English language skills
- German language skills are not a pre-requisite for this position
