We are looking for a Bio Manufacturing Science and Technology (MSAT) Quality Lead who is collaborative, detail-oriented, and strategically minded to join us in our Quality Internal Manufacturing and Operations team, based in our UCB office in Bulle, Switzerland.

About the role

As the MSAT Quality Lead, you will provide global Quality Assurance expertise and oversight for Internal and External Manufacturing of Bio Drug Substances, Drug Products, and Packaging. You’ll lead strategic and operational QA activities, ensuring compliance with evolving regulations and driving continuous improvement across technical transfers, process validation, and investigations.

Who you’ll work with

You’ll collaborate closely with Bio MSAT teams, Supply Chain, Regulatory Affairs, IT, and Global QA groups including CMC Quality and External & Clinical Supply Quality. This role requires strong cross-functional engagement to ensure quality excellence across manufacturing operations.

What you’ll do

  • Lead QA oversight for Bio MSAT activities across internal and external manufacturing
  • Provide expert support for troubleshooting, investigations, and CAPA implementation 
  • Enable process validation, technical transfers, and lifecycle management strategies
  • Advise on analytical validation, comparability, and specification reassessment
  • Develop governance models for MSAT Quality oversight and performance monitoring
  • Promote best practices and mentor team members within the Global Quality organization

Interested? For this role we’re looking for the following education, experience and skills

  • Master’s degree in a scientific or technical discipline
  • Extensive QA experience in Biopharma manufacturing and analytical testing
  • Strong leadership and project management skills across global teams
  • Excellent communication in English and French and stakeholder engagement at senior levels
  • Proven ability to solve complex problems and drive innovative solutions
  • Experience working in multicultural environments and coaching top talent
