Role Overview
A CPA at Uvation will be responsible for ensuring financial integrity, compliance, and transparency. You’ll play a key role in reporting, audits, tax, and financial strategy, partnering with cross-functional teams to support business growth.
Key Responsibilities
	•	Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and reports in compliance with US GAAP, IFRS, or other relevant standards.
	•	Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, ensuring accurate reconciliations.
	•	Lead & coordinate audits (internal & external); liaise with auditors to ensure seamless reporting.
	•	Manage tax filings and compliance with relevant tax laws (US / local / state as applicable).
	•	Monitor and forecast cash flows, budgets, and financial performance.
	•	Identify financial risks, propose cost optimization strategies, and contribute to financial policy/controls.
	•	Maintain and improve internal controls and financial processes to ensure efficiency and compliance.
	•	Work closely with FP&A, operations, legal, and leadership to support strategic decision-making.
	•	Manage multi-currency, multi-entity transactions if applicable.
	•	Mentor, guide or review work of junior accounting staff.
Qualifications
	•	Valid CPA certification.
	•	Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; Master's degree preferred.
	•	Minimum of 15+ years of relevant accounting experience, with at least 12 years in a supervisory or senior role.
	•	Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP, IFRS), financial reporting, tax law, and regulatory compliance.
Technical Skills
	•	Hands-on experience with ERP/accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and advanced MS Excel.
	•	Familiarity with tools for financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, audit software, etc.
	•	Comfortable handling multi-currency and international financial transactions (if applicable).
	•	Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex financial data and KPIs.
