The Opportunity

The Future Fund is seeking a Senior Systems Analyst to join the Corporate Technology team. In this pivotal role, you will support and optimise technology solutions across a range of enabling functions, including Legal, Enterprise Risk & Compliance, Corporate Affairs, People, Culture & Inclusion, Knowledge Management, and Business Operations. Reporting to the Strategy & Planning Manager, you will help guide the technical direction of applications, ensuring alignment with business outcomes and adherence to governance processes. This is a unique opportunity to work alongside global thought leaders, contribute to strategic initiatives, and drive impactful change in a high-performing environment.  

Key Responsibilities 

  • Collaborate with a range of stakeholders to identify, analyse and prioritise opportunities for improvement. Ensuring that our technology solutions are effective and efficient in supporting business needs. 

  • Translate stakeholder needs into technical requirements (e.g., APIs, integrations) and provide subject matter expertise for technology solutions, bridging the gap between business needs and IT capabilities. 

  • Drive continuous improvement activities; including enhancements, upgrades, patching, configuration and technical governance 

  • Partner with Pillar Managers and draw on organisational expertise to optimise system functionality 

  • Maintain and update documentation for technology solutions 

  • Ensure solutions address non-functional requirements such as security, availability, reliability, recoverability and usability. 

  • Oversee the appropriate handover of solutions to support teams and contribute to solution reviews  

  • Contribute to the maintenance of business operations, data and technology standards and policies. 

About You

  • You hold a tertiary qualification in engineering, technology, business administration, or a related discipline; with relevant certifications in business analysis, technology, or project management considered desirable. 

  • You bring an analytical mindset and problem-solving skills to enable your communications across complex technology concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders,  

  • You build strong relationships with stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes 

  • You have worked across a range of technology application improvement roles (e.g. consulting, system administration) 

  • You have experience developing or improving technology platforms, including learning new applications to write technical requirements and solution summaries, and perform system configuration when relevant. 

  • You are comfortable working in complex change environments with multiple, interdependent projects, and managing competing demands across the full project lifecycle. 

  • You have experience delivering multi-year programs which impacted multiple business units (e.g. Human Resources, Finance, CRM, Knowledge Management, Legal)
