Job Description:

This is an exciting and unique opportunity to develop your skills and understanding of the Real Estate industry at one of the UK's most exciting, forward-thinking businesses. As part of this graduate programme, you will also get to study an industry leading qualification that will help set you up for a successful career.

What You’ll Do 

Over a 27 month programme, you will:

  • Experience five rotations across the Octopus Real Estate business. You’ll have the opportunity to work in investment teams, the lending team and our Corporate Development team (which is responsible for customer experience and digital transformation) 
  • Participate in our credit and investment committees as you take new transactions from end to end 
  • Complete a two-week secondment in a Real Estate Valuation role at one of our partner firms.
  • Study to become RICS qualified.
  • Gain direct exposure to investor, borrower and broker relationships 
  • Learn how to identify gaps in the market and structure new funds to help fulfil ORE’s growth strategy.
  • Develop your network within the industry by attending webinars and events.
Qualifications:

Ideally, you'll be: 

✅A graduate of any discipline (minimum 2:1) 

✅Passionate about developing a career in Real Estate finance and investment management 

✅A fast learner, keen to get the most out of the scheme 

✅Self-motivated, capable of balancing work and study in a fast-paced environment 

✅A team player who enjoys working with a diverse team to achieve positive outcomes

Timelines for the Hiring Process

As part of your application, you’ll be asked to complete three written questions. If your responses impress us, you’ll be invited to complete a short video assessment.

Candidates who are successful at this stage will then progress to an online interview.

Following the interview, shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend our in-person assessment centre at our head office in London on 4th December. Prior to this, we’ll also ask you to complete a short personality questionnaire.
