We are seeking a Senior Operations Manager - Business Development (all genders) based in Berlin, or Hamburg.

Your mission with us:
As a Senior Operations Manager in our Business Development team, you will ensure efficient operational and administrative collaboration with partner schools to deliver courses consistently and in full compliance with government regulations. You will enable Sales and Account Management to focus on growth and customer satisfaction through strong operational support, while driving accurate cohort planning and resource allocation to optimize efficiency. By establishing robust processes and scalable models, you will support sustainable growth and foster cross-functional collaboration across Finance, Learning Hub, Sales, and Product, while providing clear alignment and facilitating the execution of strategic initiatives.

Your Tasks:

  • Operational and Administrative Partnerships: Lead and oversee operational and administrative collaboration with partner schools to ensure the effective delivery of government funded courses.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Guarantee the highest level of diligence in implementing processes and maintaining strict compliance with government regulations and guidelines.
  • Enablement of Sales and Account Management: Empower Sales and Account Management teams to deliver courses of the highest quality by providing operational support, resources, and process alignment.
  • Cohort Planning and Workforce Allocation: Own reporting and controlling of cohort planning to ensure efficient resource use and smooth program execution.
  • Process Development and Scalability: Drive the continuous improvement of existing processes and design robust scaling models that enable sustainable growth.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Manage interfaces and foster close cross-functional collaboration with Finance, Learning Hub, Sales, and Product teams to advance key initiatives.

You bring to Lingoda:

  • 3–5 years of experience in building and scaling highly complex services (ideally with scale-up and/or start-up experience).
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively and persuasively in partner management, including strong negotiation skills
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to think beyond the obvious, identify interconnections, and create synergies.
  • Solid project management experience, with a track record of successfully driving initiatives from concept to execution.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Dixa).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to break down complex problems into actionable steps.
  • Hands-on, solution-oriented approach, with a focus on practical execution.
  • Collaborative team player with a high level of adaptability and commitment.
  • Native German & fluent English
