North Central Co-op invites applications for the position of part-time Stock Supervisor to join our team at our Home Centre located in Stony Plain, Alberta. Open availability is an asset.

What you’ll do:

The Floor Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day operations on the sales floor, ensuring the retail standards are upheld in service, value and overall image. Provide support and guidance to team members and deliver exceptional customer service. 

• Oversee the daily operations on the sales floor, ensuring it meets operational standards for efficiency and services. 
• Assist with Customer Service when needed, offer expert advice and sourcing information for specialized inquiries. 
• Ensure the store is organized, well-stocked and maintains a high standard of cleanliness.
• Support the Assistant Store Manager in providing leadership and direction to team members on the sales floor, supervising performance and productivity. 
• Demonstrate and role-model behaviors that align with organizational polices, values and the Co-op brand. 
• Adhere to all NCC safety and policies procedures. 
• Support and perform other duties as required, and contribute to a team environment.

Who you are: 

• Post Secondary or related education. 
• 1 years experience in a Home Centre retail location, building materials industry or retail experience. Previous Supervisor experience would be an asset.  
• You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with attention to detail
• You’re honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
• You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
