Position Summary:
AAA United States, Inc. has partnered with a company in Plattsburgh, NY that combines more than 150 years of experience in designing and manufacturing school and Commercial Buses. The Specialized Assembler - Painter is responsible for assembling and painting components to meet our high-quality standards.
Essential Functions:
- Mix and match paint colors to achieve the required shade, consistency, and finish.
- Troubleshoot any issues related to paint application and make necessary adjustments to equipment or techniques.
- Inspect completed work for quality, ensuring smoothness, color consistency, and proper adhesion.
- Paint the exterior of buses to achieve a high-quality finish.
- Remove and reassemble components of OEM chassis for color changes.
- Prepare and clean surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and masking.
- Apply paint using various techniques and equipment.
- Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications.
- Assist in the training of junior team members.
- Maintain and clean painting equipment, tools, and work area
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines
Requirements
- Ability to mix and match paints to achieve precise color matches.
- Ability to Travel to Drummondville to train for multiple weeks at a time. (Proper Documentation is required, i.e. Passport/Enhanced License to cross US/CA Border)
