Aerostructures Manufacturing Engineer (F/M/X)

Objective of the position:

• Development and continuous improvement of the production processes required for manufacturing the parts in the Area, ensuring production volume and operating margin
• Ensure production efficiency in the Area

Your main responsibilities:

• Responsible for the development and support of the parts to be manufactured in the Area
• Continuous improvement of the manufacturing processes for the parts
  • Reduction of leadtime
  • Cost improvement for parts and NQC
• Integration with the plant team to optimize production processes

Who we are looking for:

• Education: Industrial Engineering or similar
• Required knowledge:

- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, preferably those related to sheet metal fabrication:

            FORMING: Pressing, bending, rolling, etc

            MACHINING: Conventional, laser cutting, EDM, etc

JOINING METHODS: Spot welding, TIG welding, laser welding, riveting, etc

- Knowledge of modeling and drafting in NX

- Knowledge of Teamcenter

- Knowledge of SAP

• Languages: High level of Spanish & Intermediate level of technical English

Who will you be working with?

The selected person will join the FABS engineering team. This is a multidisciplinary team with experience in all areas required for the development and production of the parts that make up the aerostructures (excluding turbomachinery) of aircraft engines.
