Description
The Cook II will accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods: to include Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Special/Catered Events. The general responsibilities of the position include those listed below.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or GED preferred. Additional education in related culinary field preferred/
- Demonstrates effective skills in all levels of food preparation, storage and presentation.
- Ability to read and expand recipes. Understand inventory, ordering and food rotation systems.
- Ability to work under elements of time pressure, frequent interruption of activities, and noise.
- Foodservice experience (hospital, nursing home, etc.) desirable.

- Uses effective customer service/interpersonal skills at all times.
