KH141 - Part-Time Family Assistant/Nanny - West Hills, CA at British American Household Staffing

A lovely family with two children ages 7 and 12 in the West Hills area of Los Angeles, CA is looking for a candidate to help with driving the children, childcare, and family assisting. The position is part-time, with a guarantee of 20 hours per week, typically between Wednesday through Saturday. Typical hours will be 2/2:30pm-6/8pm, with more flexibility needed on Saturdays (with notice!).  The family has a housekeeper/cook and is looking to add someone who can help with driving (the kids are always going in two different directions between sports and activities) and family assistance.  The family is looking for a team player who can partner with mom to help things run smoothly. 

Childcare/Driving

• School pick up, help driving them to and from their after school activities
• Help with coverage for evening childcare when needed, typically parents go out 1-2 nights per week, usually until 10pm or so. 
• Happy to engage with the children. They love art, legos, and playing outside 
• Someone wanting to connect with the older child as well in the form of sports, games, etc is a big plus
• Help maintain routines when parents are not home and overall care when sole charge
• Heating up meals (no meal prep or cooking needed)

Family Assisting

• Errands (dry cleaners, returns, etc.)
• Organizing and creating good systems 
• Helping mom with bigger projects as needed 

• Team player and open to partnering with mom to "divide and conquer" 
• Experience with and comfortable around children
• Valid driver's license and clean driving history
• Organized
• Reliable
• Trustline certified, or willing to certify
• US Passport, Green Card, or EAC

$35 per hour plus mileage reimbursement for any work related driving
