Job Description
Position Overview: This position is responsible for ensuring all materials meet specifications and are transported into designated locations in the plant in a timely manner. Responsible for entering inventory data into various automated systems while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

- Be safety cautious.
- Maintains good housekeeping and clean work areas in assigned work sites.
- Adheres to Tyson Foods Quality Policies.
- Complies with the work rules and standards set forth.
Requirements:
- Must have 3 months of work experience with the same employer.
- Must have good math skills and basic computer knowledge.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a forklift operator’s license.
- Self-motivated and able to work without direct supervision.
- Must be available to work overtime and weekends.
- Able to wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Must be willing to accommodate shift start time changes.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Depending on department assignments, it may be required to work in a temperature controlled environment of -20 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Must be willing to repeatedly push, pull, lift, and carry up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to withstand wet; humid, cold, and hot environments.
- Must be willing to work in an environment with the sight and smell of meat products or any other product present when processing meat such as blood, fat, bone, spices.
- Be able to walk or stand for 8-12 hours per day on hard floors.
Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson will have a minimum rehire waiting period of 180 days and are limited to 3 times of employment.
